We welcome your family to the Extended Learning Center (ELC) program.

ELC is a fee-supported Community Education program operated by Lake County Schools. The program is under the supervision of the school principal, with countywide coordination and direction provided by the Supervisor of Choice, Charter and Community Education.

Homework help is provided Monday – Thursday.
A daily snack is provided, with indoor games and activities as well as outside play, weather permitting.

An annual, non-refundable registration fee of $20 will be charged, in addition to the first week's tuition at the time of enrollment.


ELC opens at 7:00 a.m., until school begins and after school until 6:00 p.m.

Calendars are available at each ELC site indicating the days the site will be open or closed.

Before & after School Care = $51.60 per week.  (Includes week with single day holiday)
Before only Care = $24 per week.                 
After only Care = $42 per week.
Summer Camp = $90 per week.
*Discounted rates are available for students who qualify based on specific requirements. Please ask  ELC Coordinator for details.

PAYMENT POLICIES: All fees are due by 6:00 PM on Friday prior to week of service.  After Friday, a $5.00 late fee applies. Student cannot attend without payment.

STAFF: All persons working in the ELC Program possess and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.  ELC Site Coordinators have completed coursework in the child-care field.  ELC staff members are School Board employees under the supervision of the school principal and the Director of Career-Technical, Adult & Community Education.
