I hope you enjoyed your long weekend. Below are you updates/reminders for this week.
1).Tickets for Homecoming are now on sale!! Tickets at $50 in advance and $60 at the door. The dance is on Saturday, October 11th from 8-11 in the LMHS courtyard. We will have an awesome DJ, 360 and standard photo booths, roaming photography, snacks, and drinks; all included with the price of your ticket. Tickets can be purchased on go-fan link or QR Code below; in cash before or after school in room 1-290; or I will be selling tickets in lunches on Mon, Wed, and Fri starting this week. Outside guests forms need to be turned in to Mrs. Cavinder, or myself. Do not purchase tickets until you receive an email back approving your guest. Forms can be found below, or outside my room 1-290. When purchasing Homecoming tickets, you will be prompted to enter a first and last name. Please enter your own name and, if you purchased a ticket for a guest, your guest’s name. If your parents are purchasing tickets for you, make sure they enter your name and your guest’s name, not their own.

2). There will be a meeting in my room 1-290 on Wednesday at 1:30 for all seniors interested in helping decorate the banner and hallway for Homecoming.
3). Senior Sunrise is on Friday, September 19th from 6:30 to 9:00am. Students will have an excused absence from 1st though 3rd periods ONLY, and must report to classes the rest of the day. All seniors and early grads are welcome to attend.
4). Class dues can still be paid using the QR code linked below. Shirts can be picked up in 1-290 before or after school. Please bring a copy of your receipt.
5).Grad Bash tickets were supposed to go on sale today, but Universal has not released the pricing yet. They should very soon, and as soon as they do I will make a post about it.
6). The Senior "Year-At-A-Glance" is posted below and contains a breakdown of all of the senior related activities for the year. This is updated as needed throughout the year. Please make it a habit to check it on a regular basis.

Congratulations to Amaya Tuttle-Marshall of Lake Minneola High and Gabriel Jayjack of East Ridge High! They are among the 16,000 students across the country named as semifinalists in the 71st annual National Merit Scholarship Program! These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 6,930 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $26 million that will be offered next spring. About 95 percent of semifinalists are expected to attain finalist standing, and about half of the finalists will win a National Merit Scholarship, earning the Merit Scholar title.
